Little Vinemount Falls

Description

Little Vinemount Falls is a 2.2m tall classic plunge type waterfall located along the railway tracks in the Vinemount section of Stoney Creek, 300m east of Tallman West Falls. The waterfall is fed by a stream that collects runoff from a small area of rural land to the south during periods of snow-melt or very heavy rainfall. After plunging over this fun-sized waterfall, the creek follows a ditch westwards for 200m, then passes under the tracks through a culvert, and flows down the slope and over the Bruce Trail down below.
